Thanks so much! It has taken a lot of trial and error to get the techniques down.

Thanks. My suggestion is to check ebay for the basic goggles to find them cheap then get an idea of what style you want to go for then either buy stuff outright or start collecting and see what bits you come up with. I have learned that a drill and some screws make things a lot more durable than even Goop for adding things to the goggles.

I have a pair of googles now... they looked great online... in person they are a child's rubber/plastic swimming mask that has had stuff... like juce bottle lids glue on to it... they cost me $45... I was abit disappointed... even those their design was ingenious... their quality lack something... but manage to personalize them to semi satisfaction

at cons and even Ive seen *simple* googles range from $25 to $95...

I did order some goggles on line... shipping raise the price to $45.... they are a simple pair... Ill either fancy them up...

but Im interested in making a pair of my own... I bought a box of canning lids... my hubbear likes playing with leather... as an artist I always have numberious*things* about... I thing with some immagina tion and some metal spray paint I can come up with something...

Mine have all been made from regular welding goggles and I lack any experience with leather work so I'm afraid I can't help you much there. Go over and look at my blog when you have a little time. A lot of my steps are discussed there and you might get some ideas at least. [link]
